Our research disclosed that the original Biltmore urns were made by the workshop of Michele and Raffael Agresti in Impruneta. The workshop is still considered one of the best that ever existed in Impruneta. But, though it thrived in the 19th century, it no longer exists. Through conversations with our colleagues in Impruneta, we discovered the original molds that had been used to make the Biltmore urns. The founder of one of our family workshops had purchased the molds when the Agresti workshop closed. Using the original molds, our studio in Impruneta created exact replicas of the Agresti urns.
Our workshops in Impruneta can reproduce historical planters to replace lost or damaged pieces at distinctive homes or institutions.
